  • So, when you're done drinking your beer, and you need some spare change for the next six-pack, might as well use your head.
  • Cable cars - yes, they are real. This is the end of Powell Street, and they physically turn the car around for its trip back up Nob Hill.
  • The shops are so full of goods. Feel glad I didn't take a picture of the shop with pink ruffles on its walls.
  • At the market, the ladies abused the vegetables, going over each stem of broccolini with a practiced eye.
  • I think M wants to go to college here, just to have weekly seats in this theatre.

  • Berkeley has it's hippy side. Not that many bars, lots of restaurants, head shops and then music stores.

  • The 20mm lens on the Lumix GF1 works quite well. I used manual focus to make sure that the inside of the flower tack sharp.
